Accounts and repositories
The Accounts page, all or some repositories, uninstalling.
The Accounts page
One line per GitHub account where the Kaptimus App is installed, with one tick each. A ticked account is monitored: Kaptimus records every GitHub Actions run of every repository GitHub gives it there. Under each account is the list of those repositories.
Only an account's owners can tick it. Others see the account with a greyed tick and the words "View only".
All repositories, or some
Which repositories Kaptimus can see is decided on GitHub, when the App is installed, and can be changed there at any time:
- All repositories (recommended): every repository, including ones created later, so the totals cover the whole account.
- Only select repositories: the ones you tick on GitHub. The Accounts page then says "GitHub gives Kaptimus only N repositories of this account", with a link to change it. A repository created later is not included until you add it there.
Unticking
Untick an account and press Save: Kaptimus stops recording its runs. What was recorded stays. Tick it again later, and this month's runs from the 1st are read again — only what is missing is added, nothing twice.
Uninstalling
- Uninstall the App on GitHub (the account's settings → Installed GitHub Apps) and Kaptimus stops reading that account at once. Its runs are kept, marked uninstalled.
- Install it again and the account comes back with its settings. If it was ticked, it is monitored again at once.
- To have an account's data deleted instead, write to us (Privacy policy).
