What Kaptimus does
Kaptimus reads the GitHub Actions runs of the GitHub accounts you choose, and works out what each run, job, workflow and repository costs, from the per-minute prices GitHub publishes. It never reads your source code.
Three steps
- Sign in with GitHub. Kaptimus asks GitHub for your username and your email address, nothing more.
- Install the Kaptimus App on your GitHub account — a personal account or an organization. Installing is free. On GitHub's screen choose All repositories, so every repository, including ones created later, is covered. Only an owner of the account can install it.
- Tick the account in Kaptimus (Accounts page) and press Save. Kaptimus reads this month's runs from the 1st, and from then on every new run appears a few seconds after it finishes.
Then
- Workflow runs shows one account at a time: the month's total, a chart of its repositories (click a repository's bars to see its workflows), and the table of runs with each job's minutes and cost.
- Someone else in your organization can see the numbers too, if GitHub says they may — Who sees what.
- The numbers are an estimate from GitHub's published prices, not your invoice — What the numbers mean.
